Grant Gund

Grant Gund is a managing partner of Coppermine Capital.

Prior to joining Coppermine, Grant worked at Megunticook Management, a Boston-based venture capital firm. While at Megunticook, he served on the Boards of Carescout, Choicelinx, Data TV Networks and Digital Reliance. Grant was previously general manager of Aware Records, an independent record label in Chicago, and prior to that worked at Gund Investment Corp. and at the First National Bank of Boston.

Grant is currently serving on the Boards of APS Novastar, BakeFresh, Data TV Networks, Hunter Manufacturing, Ivize and Regional Mfg. Specialists.

He received a BA from the University of Vermont and earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Zachary Gund

Zack is a managing partner of Coppermine Capital and is the chairman of Coppermine Bakery Holdings, which controls BakeFresh Manufacturing and Cape Cod Foods.

Prior to starting Coppermine Zack worked in business development at Ucentric Systems, a home networking software company, and in the business development group at the National Broadcasting Company (NBC). Before NBC, Zack was the project manager at AquaFuture, Inc., a commercial aquaculture company located in western Massachusetts.

He has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BA from the University of Vermont.

Edward Honos

Ed is managing director of Coppermine Capital.

He is responsible for sourcing, closing and monitoring investments for Coppermine Capital. He currently serves on the board of directors of APS Novastar, Coppermine Bakery Holdings (controls BakeFresh Manufacturing), Imperial Laundry Systems, KTPS Holdings (controls K&H Pet Products and Ray Allen), Regional Mfg. Specialists and Space Electronics. He also sat on the board of U.S. Underwater Services and Choicelinx, both Coppermine exited investments.

Prior to joining Coppermine Capital, Ed worked at Merrill Lynch as an investment banker in the Merger and Acquisition and Corporate Finance groups. He was actively involved in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity offerings, financial structuring, recapitalizations, and strategic advisory. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Ed worked at Lehman Brothers and Price Waterhouse.

Ed received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University and a BBA from the University of Michigan.
